Respect and accountability are the other two priorities.

• We must respect different ideas and different ways of thinking, but also be accountable. "I don’t want the student-athlete to be afraid to make a mistake as it’s all about how they learn from it and if they are held accountable for it."

How can we measure those values?

• Graduation rate

• Retention rate

• GPA

• Other component that is measurable is wins/losses. In college, these can be deceiving.

  • .500 team with 25% of non-conference games vs nationally ranked schools while another school has a .700 winning percentage playing teams below .500.

  • As a result, we measure by how we do in our conference, how we do in our conference tournament, and playing teams that are really good in non-conference games.

How do we represent our team/school within the community? Are we contributing members and give back to the community we live and spend time in.
